We've found this great site called Animal Experiences. It's full of information about experience gifts connected with animals. This is everything from tickling a tapir to enjoying an entire day as a zookeeper.

The reason why we like this site is the focus on animals - experiences such as rally driving or bungee jumping just don't give us the connection and warm feelings that you get from meeting and looking after lovely furry creatures.The web address is www.animal-experiences.co.uk

Most of the animal experiences are available in zoos or wildlife parks. There aren't too many of these in the UK anymore, so you may have to travel further afield to met these furry friends. But we think it's worth it.

So what's a 4x4 experience?
4x4 (or 4 by 4) can mean anything from driving a hummer at speed, to driving a Land Rover cautiously around a cross country course. The site also includes things like a monster truck driving experience. In short it's zooming and roaring and screeching, powered by four mighty wheels.

If you're more of a 4x4 expert, you'll need a more involved 4x4 experience day. You can pick up a day-long course for a couple of hundred pounds, and this will give you a whole lot of experience, as well as a day of 4x4 fun!

Obviously some are good and some are bad, but you can find our more by researching all the 4x4 experiences available. Do't get hung up on price, but do make sure you're buying the experience you want with the bvehicle you want in the location you want.

We've been looking at some great expreiences, and our favourite at the moment are rally driving experiences. It's a great way to test your driving skills with an expert helping you get the best out of your rally car.

It's a great change from the usual driving experience days that you're always reading about, and gives you the chance to really test your skills behind the wheel of a raging rally monster. All the big experience day providers sell a range of every rally driving experience, ranging from £50 up to £500 for a really in depth eperience. Watch out for the cheapest rally days though - you'll only get a few minutes in the car, and you'll definitely be left wanting more.
